Former DeLorean owner Sandor Piszar represented GM at SEMA last month and gave this interview regarding the new Camaro...

GM is already 68 billion in debt. Do you really think 14 billion split 3 ways is going to help them? It's pretty obvious that they'll eventually have to file for bankruptcy protection anyway and you and I will have to stand in a very long line to get our money back! Besides in bankruptcy the courts will oversee the re-structuring of the company. Car czar?? You've got to be kidding! And who do you suppose is having the last laugh!

The new Camaro will pace the Indy 500 this year. GM says there will be NO Pace Car replicas sold to the public, a break from tradition...

I had the pleasure of meeting Sandor at the 2006 DCS, awfully nice guy and quick on his feet. He pulled of the interview great. The Camaro, I like but won't be buying one. Those days are over for me, but wish GM the best and it sounds like it's priced right. That will change when the dealerships get there hands on them I'm afraid.

I'm very curious what is going to happen in the next several months with GM. If they are not saved by a bailout, are the 2010 Camaros the first and last generation? If they even roll of the production line at all?
